Hilltop Retreat and Easy Access to Attractions
We had a fantastic time at the lodge nestled in the picturesque village of Staithes. The location was like a hilltop retreat, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It felt like being on top of the world! Despite the steep hill, we had no problem accessing the shops and pubs in the village. And the best part? The lodge was just a short drive away from fantastic attractions like The Spa Scarborough and Dalby Forest. Exploring the area was an absolute breeze!

The lodge had a great layout and the quality was top-notch. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was excellent. The lodge had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to a warm and cozy atmosphere. Despite the lack of street lights, the lodge got nice and warm with the heating. Plus, the lodge was spotlessly clean, which made for a pleasant stay.
We did encounter some difficulties with the location. The lodge was situated at the bottom of a very steep hill, making it challenging for guests with mobility issues or without a car.
